Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Abortion Protesters

Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Abortion Protesters

Awesome!! this 8-0 decision reversed an earlier SC decision that allowed the use of the RICO statutes against pro-life demonstrators, making it illegal for pro-life demonstrations to exist. I remember this decision well, but I didn't realize it was 20 years ago...time flies. And in the meantime, many people have been sacrificed to the god of this age since 1973, and since 1986 it has been illegal to even peacefully protest it. Is this good news or what? Is there still hope for this culture here in the USA??!

WESTERNIZED CHRISTIANS & LOST PEOPLE

What do you have? What do you do with it? The following information came from a video shown at Urbana 2000; I just saw it last night. I hope this little section may make many American Christians re-consider what they are doing with what they have. It has for me.
...
WESTERNIZED CHRISTIANS & LOST PEOPLE

“Jesus said to them, ‘Friends, have you caught any fish?’”

Despite the amazing progress made in world evangelization in the last quarter century, TWO BILLION people in the world still live without the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ.

“He said to them, ‘cast the net to the other side of the boat, and you will find some’.”

An estimated Ten Thousand people groups have no indigenous Christian witness. Yet Christians are allocating only a tiny fraction of their resources to these un-reached peoples.

Worldwide, Christians earn a total of $12.3 trillion a year.

Only 1.7% is given to Christian causes of any kind.

Of this 1.7%, only 5.4% is given to foreign missions.

Of this 5.4%, only 1% goes to efforts directly focused on the people without an opportunity to hear about Jesus.

“Jesus said to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest’.” —Luke 10:2

95% of all people who have never heard the news of Jesus live outside of the western hemisphere; yet few western Christians will go with the gospel beyond their own borders.

(FOR INFORMATION ON THE 10/40 WINDOW,
LOOK BELOW AND CLICK HERE.)

Most, 74% of all Protestant missionaries, work among groups that are already at least nominally Christian.

Put another way, only 1 of every 20,000 Christians goes to tell the Good News to the people who actually have not heard.

“Jesus said to them; ‘Let us go on to the neighboring towns, so that I may proclaim the message there also; for that is what I came out to do’.” —Mark 1:38

In the United States of America alone, there are over Thirty Thousand different Bible study guides, and over 20 different English Bible translations.

At the same time, more than three thousand languages don’t have a single printed verse of scripture.

“Jesus said to them; ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners’.” —Mark 2:17

Furthermore, over 90% of major Christian resources and media tools benefit majority Christian countries.

In short, most of our offerings to God go to meet our own needs.

“Jesus said to them, ‘Which one of you, having a hundred sheep and losing one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one that is lost until he finds it?’” —Luke 15:4

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19–21).

Roe v. Wade Review??

South Dakota's House and Senate have both passed a bill that would ban abortions in the state except for cases involving the life of the mother. (Click here for the article.) These exceptions would not include the "health" of the mother, which in the past has been interpreted so loosely as to include any type of "mental anguish" that the potential mother may possibly feel, such as any type of dispariagement from anyone about her pregnancy. Rape and incest are not included as exceptions either. This will surely end up in the nations highest court again. With the two new Supreme Court appointees, may there be a possibility of overturning the 1973 decision which has allowed the killing of millions and millions of babies? 4,000 babies each day are aborted in the United States of America alone. Four Thousand every day.

So what do you think?

I can hardly think of this possibility without thinking of Dread Scott case in the pre-Civil War era. Read about this historical case here. The 1973 Roe v. Wade case has divided our people in much the same way as that 1857 Supreme Court decision. Maybe the Federal case which will come from this South Dakota situation will awake the people of this nation from their moral slumber in the same way that the Dread case did way back then.

If you have a strong stomache and you want to know the truth about what abortion is and does, click here. Wait...realize that this next link is very graphic and if you have a weak stomache, you'll probably get sick. Of course, maybe we all need to get sick over this. Are you ready? Before you do that, read this:

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.

So, are you normal? Are you one of the many typical people that do all those predictable, cookie-cutter things? Or, are you one of those people who breaks all the molds and really sticks out? Are you one of those undefinable "enigma" type people? There's really nothing wrong with being normal, as long as you aren't compromising on what you know is right and wrong. That in itself happens to be unusual...abnormal.

Ann Coulter and the funnies... (via Muhammad)

Ann Coulter comments on the recent Danish cartoon depictions of Muhammad in this article. You can just imagine her sarcastic humor making some pretty good points and making you chuckle throughout.

It sure is at least "interesting" to see what it is that makes different people react. Should we really be surprised at the results of these cartoons...or for that matter, that they were even published in the first place? Obviously, neither party here is interested in the wisdom that would lead to any type of peaceful conclusion. Just a couple of words to the wise...

Proverbs 19:11 "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense."

Proverbs 18:19 "An offended brother is more unyielding than a fortified city, and disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel."

Asha's Story...From NEPAL to...

In the United States of America, we have so much. And we take so much for granted. We also cause a lot of pain around the world by our selfish living. The values that we are known for world-wide in a very negative light is what Asha's Story is about. This little girl from Nepal is just one of many. Follow the above link; with prayer read her story and decide what you can do. This has to stop.

"People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16 And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them." Mark 10:13-16
