Why Harriet Miers??

Why Harriet Miers? She's the best candidate. I don't think so. She's the best female candidate...which is so important since she's replacing Sandra Day O'Connor? No, not even the best female candidate...at least I'm not convinced.

Nice lady, good Sunday School teacher, etc...but that doesn't cut it for the Supreme Court. You know, that lifetime appointment court where they say whatever they want to and the whole country has to go along with it.

I think it's time to ammend our Constitution to give Supreme court appointees a "term limit". Of course, they'd probably declare that unconstitutional, or at least they'd sure try! Talk about circular reasoning!

So, term limits on the SC in the near future, and for now we can at least put qualified candidates on it to begin with.
